Hello,

I meet the minimum requirements for CEC. Will I get extra points for my EE profile if I am selected as CEC candidate? My current CRS score is 498.

It's not clear what you mean by extra points. Your points will be the same regardless whether you are selected as a CEC or FSW candidate.

Oh, I just meant to say that some points would be added to my score (like in the case of PNP, where we can get 600 points automatically)
Oh okay then there will be no change in score! Thanks

No - they won't be.

Got it thanks! But CEC-specific EE candidates might have different cuff off score compared to other EE candidates right? This is a data I found in the website moving2canada.

Lowest CRS points cutoff in a 2019 Express Entry draw: 468 (all programs, including FSW); 431 (CEC-specific); 415 (FST-specific)

Not necessarily. It depends on whether IRCC conducts CEC specific draws or general draws. There have been periods where IRCC conducted CEC-specific draws. However recently they have all been general - so same cut off for both FSW and CEC.

FST is a separate draw that only happens once or twice a year generally.
