Hello All!
This question might have been answered before but all the cases are unique in its own way. Any help is graciously appreciated!
My scenario:
A. 6 months of work experience from 2018 August to 2019 February in closed work permit in NOC code 2173. Contract ended in February 2019
B. 6 months of work experience from March 2019 to September 2019 in open work permit as my spouse was attending college. job duties equivalent to NOC code 2173.
If I add the full time min 40 hours work week, I have 54 weeks of experience.
C. In September 2019 I joined full time in Data Science and Analytics 1 year MSc. degree from a reputed college in Ontario. I will pass out in September 2020.
My questions:
1. Can I claim 1 year job experience while creating my express entry profile as I have claimed experience letters, stating similar job duties and continuous full time 40 hour/week job from both companies? Will I get points for Canadian job experience even if they consist of two jobs?
2. Once I pass out and claim masters degree points and Canadian education points, can I still claim work experience points as it was before my post graduate degree consists of two different jobs with similar duties?
Now I could create an express entry profile now, but my points would be around 435-440 so do not see much option before completing my Masters degree.
Experts - Kindly help.
Thanks!
