CEC - Applications Submitted in August 2014

Hello All,

I submitted my CEC application for PR from within Canada in August 2014.

CIC Sydney Office received it on August 20th, 2014. The status on the CIC website still shows " In Process "

Any body else in the same boat as me? Any advise as to what should I do to find more about the status?

I am very anxious and need some advise. Please let me know if you have any..

Same for me, I submitted my CEC at the end of July 2014, it was received on
August 6th 2014. It says " In Process" "We started processing your application on October 27, 2014." CIC emailed me ways back in February asking for police check based on figure print. I emailed CIC a few weeks ago and got a reply that essentially just said were still processing application that were submitted before express entry and told me to continue to wait. Which is really tough because all my family are Canadian Citizens now, I'm the last of my family not in Canada. What really sucks is that I was in Canada on a post grad work permit and had applied for PR before it expired, but my PR application was returned unprocessed because of silly little things they could have just wrote to me for the information.

So now we wait.. and wait some more.

No movements happening after 11 August 2014 applicants...
they taken granted on us and only focusing on EE...
ask your pals to sign it on our behalf...
 
I am an August 1 applicant in the same boat.

There are 6000 unprocessed applications from 2014. They aim to process them in the next 6 months according to today's Toronto Star.

On an optimistic note there has been some movement in the June/July 2014 cohort with finalization of applications. Hopefully we are next!

signed it, its good to see that it has reached a count of 599, now if we could promote this petition a bit more 1000 could a possible number.

I will be sending it across to people whom I know are in same situation like us.
