Hi

I have been working full time in Brampton on post grad work permit as an electric spot welding machine operator (noc 7265). According to my research, this job falls under skill level B. What is the minimum (entry level) salary that I should be earning per hour or per year? Can cic reject my application on the basis of salary? I will be able to provide cic with pay stub, t4 and reference letter.

Thank you in advance.

CIC does not have a salary requirement.

It might raise red flags if the average for the field is $40/hour and you're making $12/hour. But the only job add for this position that I found showed an hourly wage of $15.00.

thanks for your views,,,i saw the job link which you shared, this job requires 2-3 years experience,,,,but I am only earning $13/hour,,,I hope this will be OK for entry level workers.

CIC doesn't have any salary requirement and you are earning 13 dollar per hour which is sufficient for entry level workers.

if your actual salary is not too far off from the salary listed by hrsdc, it should be fine!
