Application says I need to list all the jobs I did in last 3 years, I graduated in 2012 and while I was studying I did small co-op as software developer in CAA South Central, Markham, Canada. It was flexible hour job and I was allowed to put whatever hours I wanted on weekly basis (this was done while I was studying). Now my question is: how should I put this exprience in economic class form (imm0008_8e), form ask me weekly-hour..what should I put there? Can i just ignore this work-experience? Please help!

You won't have to include this as any work experience gained when an applicant was a full time student, is not counted towards CEC work experience.

Um I read somewhere that you could gain work experience even as a student. Is it not true?

No you cannot count work experience gained when you were a full time student. Only work experience gained after graduation can be counted towards CEC work experience.

Any period of employment during which the applicant was engaged in full-time study will not be included in calculating the period of qualifying work experience (e.g., work experience gained through co-op work permits, off-campus work permits while a full-time student and on-campus work permits). [R87.1(3)(a)]. Officers should verify the work permit information in GCMS.

Thank everyone. So I got my work permit on 16th June 2013, now does it mean that I could move my application only during july or mid june 2014? I started working full-time right after my graduation that is 24th April and have been working since then continuously.

It is best to start counting work experience gained on your post graduate work permit (i.e. from the date you PGWP was issued).
