Great news!!!
When I opened my account today, I saw a status update and got super exited:)
Then after clicking the updated status, cic again doesn’t surprise me!!!
Long story short;

biometrics fee requested -JULY 2,
Paid and receipt uploaded -July 2,
Additional document uploaded updated on the profile - July 10
We’re reviewing the additional document- July 16
BIL received- September 1,
Additional document change from “we’re reviewing” to “not applicable” - Nov 19

All in all, today’s update is only about additional document section change which was stayed untouched since September 1. (80 days)

Things are getting on its place… do u remember the email sent by ircc to all the applicants.
They have said, that most of the progress on your application happens closer to the estimated completion date.
I believe you will receive your portal in this week or next.

I have everything approved said by rep back in September but still waiting. 6 june aor, last 2 week left and yeah I got that email but it looks automatically sent. But hoping I will get.

Hello Friends

Got Credential mail today. Here are my timelines. No idea about VO as I was never able to reach to CIC via call or GSMS notes ( still pending more than 2 months)
AOR:- 28th June
Medical Cleared:- 2nd Aug
Biometric Completed:- August 4, 2021
After that no update

Portal email - Nov 18， 2021
Credential email - Nov 22, 2021

Self + 2 dependents all in Canada.

Below is status on CIC portal.
Review of eligibility
  • We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results
  • August 2, 2021 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents
  • We do not need additional documents.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Hi friends,

I got my portal almost last week and replied the same day but still, I did not get any response after that. I have to travel next month and I am worried if my visa is not valid anymore to come back to Canada at that time. What should I do to speed the process?
