• The eligibility requirements are passed.
• The background verifications are currently valid.
• The security background verification is currently valid.

AOR jan 22 Bio feb 14 GU June 5 VO sydney CEC inland with the wife as dependant

Hi I got a status update in my profile yesterday (4 June) stating that my application is approved. Under docs it shows the details of COPR like the validity and #. I had applied on 17 Jan for CEC stream. But I guess there is some kind of change in the protocol as earlier there used to be a passport request. So I am not exactly sure what my next step should as they didn't indicate anything on my profile or in the email. Any help would be greatly appreciated

During Covid, this is a new initiative to internally land - inside Canada Candidates without having to leave Canada, hence no counterfoil is needed
on your passport

COPR will be mailed to your postal address
Landing will conclude via email or telephone
Address confirmation will be asked to send u a pr card
Pr card [new] processing takes about 3-4 months currently

Hi, only continue the necessary steps required for COPR, rest everything should be ignored and for the best possible answer and peace of mind try reaching CIC over the call or via web form at the earliest

Even I had this doubt, as I only got COPR letter in email and is asking for copy of COPR letter and recent photograph.

No request for Passport and no mention of landing details.

The letter also says that it can be considered as PR document along with travel document or federal/provincial identity document for a year.

Hi,

I received COPR on June 2nd and got COPR email by June 5th.

The email says to send copy of the COPR and recent photograph. There is no mention about passport request at all.

It also says that the document can be used as PR document along with other identity document for a year.

My question is do we know what is the new process for Landing (as passport is not requested in the COPR email) and also how to get SIN updated under this new process? If anybody done the process recently please help.

As per the requirement of Canadian Exp. Class, the job offer letter should state that the job offer (not seasonal) is for at least one year after they issue permanent resident visa.
