Hey Everyone,

I'm working as a visiting scholar at an university. I'm getting paid Research assistantship for my work there and I have completed 7 months of work already. I wanted to know if this can be used as work experience for the cec application. I finished my 4 years BSc. in canada before taking this position.

The NOC list classifies it in the 4122 section which makes me eligible. However, as I'm not enrolled in any university hence making it a special case.

Will I be eligible?

After you complete one year of work (1950 hours)

Wouldn't it be an issue that I'm not classified in any noc category as such and I'm getting paid research assistantship?

Noc4122 places a requirement to be enrolled in university.
