Hi,

If I have a work experience of 6 months as full time in one NOC and 6 months of part-time work experience in an another NOC, can I still be considered as having one year of full time work experience if I complete 1560 hrs.
Is it required to have the work experience in the same NOC for the entire one yearor 2 period?

Thankyou
Chill.

You won't have one year though, since you'll have six months full time, and six months part-time. They don't count more than 30 hours a week for full time work. Six months full-time will give you 720 hours.

How will you get the remaining 840 hours with six months of part-time work?

After I left my call centre job, I worked an equivalent number of hours even more 36 hrs per week as part time.

Doesn't matter. They only count 30 hours a week regardless. However, if you actually did six-months of 30 hour weeks.. then yes, you will have enough experience.

Thank you so much I still have some documents to gather then will apply, meanwhile I continue to work 36 hrs a week meaning 3 days of 8 hrs shifts.
You've been a great help.

Added to what has been said you have to be careful with the NOC you choose as it could fall under skill type C if you were a regular call centre agent.

Hello Everyone,

I am also confused with 2 NOC, my primary occupation is Human Resource Professional but for last 2 continuous years ( 3.5 in total) i am managing two NOCs together that is 0112 (HR Manager) and 0114 (Administrative services manager) under the job title of General Manager Human Resources and Administration. Now HR NOCs are not in demand but i have recently come across the demand of 0114, so i am willing to apply for this (as i complete continuous 1 year requirement) what shall i do, shall i make two separate profiles in EE pool or i use both NOCs in same profile, which one to keep secondary and which one to keep primary (considering my original profession is not in demand in any province).

please guide. Thanks in advance!!

What do you mean “HR NOC is not in demand”??

There’s no such criteria.

Actually i am opting for PNP as my CRS score is not that impressive, Ontario Human Capital Demand Stream is one where i see myself fitting into as they are looking for "0114 Services Manager"

That's why i am confused with my NOC codes!! if i go for NOC 0114 i may get a chance to get invite through Ontario Human Capital Demand Stream, but that actually to me is a secondary NOC.

3 days of 8 hrs each is only 24 hrs a week. Isn't it??
