Hi Friends,

I have worked as a full time employee in Canada from Feb 2014- Jan 2015, for 40 Hours per week which is 40*52 = 2080 Hrs.

Since i came in 1 year work permit I had to return before the Visa end date. To be precise worked for 52 weeks which is 2 weeks short of 1 year eligibility criteria for CEC. Since i have already qualified for CEC minimum working hours which is 1560 Hours. Can I apply for CEC class?

Kindly help me with your valuable suggestions.

Regards,
Dravid.

yes you can

No - unfortunately that's the wrong answer.

To qualify to apply for CEC - the applicant needs to meet both the criteria of having enough hours as well as having 52 weeks (1 year) of full time work experience.

Hi Davidel,

As Scylla mentioned, you have to complete both 52 weeks and number of hours (1560hrs) to be eligible for 1 year of CE.

Even though you worked for 40 hours, they only 30 per week. As you mentioned that you are short of 2 weeks.

50 weeks * 30 hours/per week = 1500 hours.

Can you provide exact dates?

40 hours per week is simply "full-time," and you need a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience to qualify.

I reached Canada on Feb 2nd 2014 and left on Jan 15th 2015.

In my ADP Payslips from Feb - Dec 2014, it was clearly mentioned the monthly working hours of 160+.
For Jan 2015 received Canadian payslip from my employer.

First day on the job - last day on the job are relevant, not arrival/departure dates. But even based on those, you don't meet the requirements.

Hi,
I have created my online profile with 11 month of supervisor experience and one month of manager experience with same company.
today, I got my bc pnp in express entry and i got 600 extra points for that.

My question is that in future while submitting file to the CIC. Am i get any trouble ?
