Hey,

I searched every corner of the CIC website but could not find any info on this.

Currently I'm living and working in Toronto under a Canadian Experience Visa (Open work permit).
I found a job and after several months I was offered a full time employment but we're not sure if I can get one.
The application for Skilled Worker immigration has been started, I got my CLB and UofT is currently assessing my education level (can take 11 weeks or more)

Can a receive a full time employment under a CE visa?
Or do I need a contract with an enddate?

If I get a full time employement, can this count as a job offer?
If I have a to get a contract, do I need the employer to give a job offer for the time afterwards to help my immigration?

Thank you,
Dom

Sure - you can be given a permanent job offer.

However it won't count as a job offer for immigration purposes until/unless your employer obtains an approved LMIA.

By permanent job offer you mean a full time employment right?
While already being in Canada under a Canadian Experience Visa? (which expires end of this year)
And they will have to do a lima on the job they already given me in order for me to get the immigration papers sorted?

You can certainly accept a "permanent" job offer, but it is still limited by the terms of your work permit.

I assume you’re referring to the “valid job offer” requirement to get the extra 600 points to boost your CRS score for Express Entry.

A valid job offer requires 2 things: an LMIA, and a written offer of (future) permanent, full-time employment contingent upon your obtaining Permanent Resident status.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/offer.asp

Since you don’t have an LMIA, you would first have to ask your boss to apply for one. There are 2 kinds of LMIA – one to support a work permit application (fee 1,000 CAD), and one to support a Permanent Resident application only (no fee – but no work permit).

If your boss obtains the LMIA, then you would additionally need a written offer of permanent employment that meets the requirements spelled out at the link provided above. This is in addition to the letter of employment/reference letter that attests to work already performed...
