My question is regarding CCTB calculations. I will be obliged if somebody can guide me in this regard
I will land in Canada in February.I have two kids ( 10 and 5 years old ) As per information available on Canada Revenue Agency website they will use my previous year income fr CCTB calculations. My annual income in 2015 ( in my home country ) will be about 39000 CAD. When I use this income in CCTB calculator ( on CRA website ) I get very less benefit for my kids. Some people whom I know were doing very good job in home country but are getting upto 350 CAD per child in BC. I am confused. Either I am doing wrong calculations or there is something which is not covered in this calculator. I know the importance of such funds as I will be initially jobless. So, please suggest me how much benefits shall I get so that I can plan my budget accordingly.
