Hi, I've been looking everywhere for this answer, but can't find it.
We moved to Canada permanently on February this year (did a soft landing in 2019), and our daughter will start daycare in April.
I understand we do not have to file a tax return because we were not living in Canada during 2021. Can we still get child care benefit (in BC) and other benefits without a tax return? How can we do this?
If not, can we voluntarily file a tax return for our world income from last year?
Thank you!
