I requested CBSA Entry/Exit record via ATIP portal, and uploaded my passport + PR card to the request.
Today, I received their response with the file showing almost the correct entry/exit, except for onemissing Entry.

If my memory serves me well, I used my NEXUS card for that entry.
I have a few questions:
  1. Is it because I did not upload my NEXUS card to the ATIP request, that caused CBSA to search my entry/exit based solely on my passport & PR card number?
  2. In Citizenship application, do I upload my NEXUS card?
  3. If no, how would IRCC know about my NEXUS entries? (because CBSA did not show that entry, it's unlikely that they will show differently to IRCC when requested)

I don't know why they are missing but include everything when you submit the citizenship application regardless of whether it appears on the report or not. My husband has a nexus card too and his report was incomplete as well. He missed one same day trip to the US which was not on the report (and we forgot about it). IRCC caught this and he got RQ as a result.

Thanks for your response. What does "RQ" mean?

Did you or your husband have to upload NEXUS card in the citizenship application?

Wonder if I need to include an explanation letter for the missing one.

RQ means IRCC questions your residency days and you have to submit a ton of extra evidence to prove it.

I don't believe my husband uploaded his nexus card.

I don't think you need an explanation letter. You just need to state your travel records accurately.

How long did it take you to receive your FOIA entries/exits, and when did you apply?

We ordered CBSA records prior to my spouse's citizenship app, because a lot of travel and we didn't want to delay application / wanted to be certain day counts were correct.

All the entry/exits matched our records except for one airline departure (not to USA). It was obvious something was missing as showed two entries in a row. It's possible spouse used second passport for that trip (country of origin allows more than one) but kind of doubt it/not sure.

At any rate, attached explanation of this discrepancy to citizenship app, along with some supporting docs (showing departure date).

IRCC got back after AOR requesting interview a few weeks later, asked scans of passports - duly provided along with note showing which pages (passport stamps) also supported the exit on date we noted. Had the brief interview, didn't specifically ask about those stamps, asked a few other questions about travel (eg work travel, which trips were just vacation, also asked about 'longest trip' - less than two months a few years ago). Anyway very relaxed and physical presence showed up as passed in the system a few days later.
