just out of curiosity, i am not wanted or anything, but: when the CBSA checks the passports on the airport from the visitors, can and do they see if somebody is wanted (warrant) in a country oversea ? Just wondering how much access the CBSA got to foreign countries.

CBSA has access to ANYTHING releted to crossing borders, that is:
1.- Arrival date to Canada
2.- Departure date from Canada
3.- Arrival and departure specifics (air, ground, sea, hour)
4.- Notes from embassy
5.- Criminality notes (i.e. DUID, DUIA, etc.)
6.- Notes from previous CBSAs
