So a face to face interview assume they mean Skype not that you could travel to Canada currently anyway
Still be very cautious with this as still seems unlikely a company is going to advertise such a job for a few months to make sure no resident is available and then pay out 1000 dollars for the LMIA to recruit from overseas especially given the unemployment rate in Canada from COVID. People who scam have the process all rehearsed down to the last detail to look convincing even with sometimes fake websites and then at the end they ask for cash.
Then of course if they offer to pay for your flights or accommodation that should be a red flag
