I think its better to know! OHKIDDA. If some correlation starts to show with a certain VO declining apps all the time, then who knows someone might be able to do something about it.

These VO's arnt really aware that applicants like are selves are on top of things like this, so why don't we?

I agree it's good to know.

But remember, the apps are usually reviewed by an officer and then sent to another officer (the decision maker) for review. So it's probably not as easy as people think to work out correlation's.

Would I be right in saying that the VO number input on the GCMS notes will be that of the second officer looking at the file?, If we start showing each other this VO once GCMS notes orders we might get some idea. I just ordered mine, I asked someone in the April forum to add a column for VO, it wont hurt.

I am Sept applicant and I applied under NOC 4012.... my visa officer is RC-6262

Two other people have him and he has put all of us under NOC 4012 to be ineligible in terms of work experience.... He rejected one of the two people....!!

Keeping fingers crossed... lets see what happens!!

If you have applied under NOC 4012 and you have RC-6262.... order notes asap.... this guy/gul seems to be rejecting all NOC 4012 using the new rules that came in effect on January 2013 (including the people who applied in late 2012)!!!

Which new rule are you referring to?

The new rules that were effective January 3rd 2013... which state that any work experience gained during full time study cannot be used to total the amount of work hours!

Im not too up to speed with Study permits and rules and regs for this when it comes to CEC, but does the VO have a point? or an error?

Hi I think RC 6262 is a Dept. and not a VO. This has been previously discussed by other members on this forum.

If it is a VO then I am scared too I see this name on my GCMS notes as well and CIC has changed my NOC to 9914 (Non Worker)

Agreed! Based on GCMS notes received...RC6262 is a department, not a VO.

I don't think a single visa officer's number will give you the type of information you are looking for, unless you tally the VO numbers by each step of the process. e.g. VO numbers that did eligibility, criminal check, IELTS check, final review, etc.

Your application will change hands many times. At least that's what I noticed on my own notes. It seemed to me one officer issued instructions to the next, then that person did same to the next, etc.
