Cars from USA to Canada

I have 2 cars (in USA) and would prefer to take those to Canada once my case is completed.

I understand that this would include good amount of paper-work,
can someone share if I need to pay extra taxes once I register it locally to Canada city?

Or any kind of issues I can face other than paper work?
