Carrying Medication in Canada.

I have to carry prescription medicines in Canada(not over-the-counter) and I have few question regarding same:

Should I carry medicines in Carry-On luggage or in the check-in luggage?

How much medicine can I carry, 90 days?

Do I need to declare the medicines in the customs declaration form?

Any help would be appreciated.

if the medications r critical and u may need to take them during ur flight then take them in carry on with the prescription otherwise u can take them in ur checked in luggage. either way carry prescription. not sure but i dont think there any restriction on how much medication u can carry as long as u have prescription for that period.
it is good to declare everything.

The maximum quantity of liquids, gels and aerosols permitted in carry-on baggage is 100ml/100g (3.4 oz.) per article. If it is a critical medication and below 100ml it can be carried with a prescription.

The medicines are not critical and I don't need them on plane, I can carry them in the check-in luggage. But according to the following link, I need to carry it in carry-on luggage :http://travel.gc.ca/travelling/health-safety/medication. At the same time, there are many cases in which the medicine is carried in the check-in luggage and not declared and they were not inuired by the CBSA officials. My main concern here is regarding the fine here. They sometimes impose heavy fine on undeclared goods.
