I was looking forward for applying for Carleton university for Msc in Computer Science. Before applying i wanted few inputs on the same .

I too have applied in carleton but for ME in ECE. What I have heard about carleton is dat it is very good for journalism and electrical engineering but I think carleton has reputation for all engineering programs. So don't have a second thought abt it and apply coz it's already late many people have already applied there for sept intake.

I guess the deadline is March 1 and no canadcanadian univ follow first come first serve basis . Am I right ?

Actually they recommend us to apply asap so that they wud'b able to process our application soon. And in case of Msc if u haven't secured any supervisor before applying the application then they try to arrange supervisor themselves if ur profile is strong. So if u apply late ur chances wud be lean to get admission as no supervisor wud b able nearby deadline(except if u have secured supervisor before ,by contacting him through mail or on call or by meeting him).

So in nutshell if u r applying for Msc then I wud say u shud apply asap to secure admission and try to contact professor of ur specialisation. Gud luck

I have applied for ME in ECE. About application status , I think the result wud be out in March. So we have to wait until March. Hope to get a positive reply. Gud luck

And any one has any idea on the collaborative course concept. I found the master in data science very much interesting so wanted to know how can i apply for it.

Being a collaborative course will the length of entire program and fee increase ?
