Car parking while on vacation

Hello all -
I am going on vacations next week for about 2 months and will be out of the country. Where should I leave my car? Does anyone have some suggestions? Would leaving the car at the roadside parking be safe?

Ideally, parking stalls in a secured building/lot orr inside your in-house garage. If roadside, subject to vandalism or being towed by city.

I wouldn't recommend roadside parking for obvious safety reasons. However, one more negative is that in the winter, many towns/cities require you to move your vehicle from the roads for snow plowing. So, your vehicle could be towed if parked in one of these zones.

Or if you want to spend a little money, you can always park at the airport. There should be long term parking.

Park at some friends place or look for someone at craigslist or kijiji who is renting out his parking space for a month.
