Hi,
I completed my 2 years of education in Ontario (1 + 1 PG Certificate Program) and right now applied for my PGWP. My WES is in final stage (applied 6+months ago) and I took my IELTS General yesterday- so hopefully I will be able to create Express Entry Profile and was thinking I might be eligible under Federal Skilled Worker Program. I hope my current point level without doing TEF will be around 460 and I can do TEF to boost my score above 470 if needed.
I was wondering about 2 things
1) I got funds in my Scotia chequing account- $13k+ (have been maintaining that average for the past 1 year). I don't have any other debt such as credit card debt but I have a Car Loan for $28k+ with Scotia bank. Does the Auto loan create any problem while declaring Proof of funds?
2) Am I eligible to claim points for this below category?
Your past studies in Canada
You completed at least 2 academic years of full-time study (in a program at least 2 years long) at a secondary or post-secondary school in Canada.
- I always assumed 2 years of full-time study will be okay but never thought it has to be from a single program.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
