I have 2 questions regarding the CAQ

1. Do i need to show funds for the total stay in Canada or just for the first year and tuition fee for the first year?

2- Having the CAQ increases my chances of getting the student visa?

Total Stay funding will make your case strong. Secondly CAQ is just for Quebec state entry permission, it has nothing to do with visa guarantee. if you are going to any university that is in quebec boundry, you need caq thats it.
