CAQ doubts and clarifications

did your CAQ get accepted with the email version?? My Concordia adviser told me not to apply with the email acceptance letter... but 8 weeks is way too long to wait!!!

Well buddy momi says he was granted CAQ on the basis of email copy of LOA, so you'll have to take his word for it. If you still insist on the original letter, then you can hire express mail service to pick it up from concordia and deliver it to you (Takes about a week). For what it's worth, me and my friend applied for visa on the basis of email print copy of LOA and we got the medical call.

i have couriered all my CAQ supporting checklist docs.
track results show that the courier has been delivered on 18oct.
but my online file status for CAQ still shows "docs awaited ".

does anyone knows how long will it take to update the status???

Which country are you from? I'm from Pakistan and the total process took about 10 to 14 days.

I mean CAQ. From the date the documents reach them. Khair don't worry bro if the documents have reached them, then you don't need to worry. the status will change in a few days.

Its written in instructions of study visa On CIC website that LOA should be original ! You can't send them emailed letter.

Once you apply successfully online, a declaration letter with a checklist is generated. It mentions that following things are required :

1. The original Declaration, commitments and authorizations form, dated and signed.
2. An original recent ID photo, passport format (35 mm x 45 mm), with your name on the back and
stapled in the box opposite.
3. Legible photocopy of pages of your passport bearing personal information and the photo (well
defined). Your passport must be valid.
4. Letter of admission from the registrar (or Admissions Office) of the educational establishment that you will attend.

Although its not mentioned, but add the Credit Card payment receipt too.

Don't worry much about CAQ. Its a pretty easy and straightforward process.

oh ..i sent email copy now I have to send the original when i get it.....

yup..n widout wasting any time(if applying for jan intake).
dnt wait fr LOA by post..its delivery is uncertain..go for a courier service n get ur LOA as fast as possible.

i guess no..coz i was asked to "send original letter with signature of registrar..."

moreover if u have applied for concordia, they won't provide u the scanned copy.
