CAQ and Study Permit

Hello,
I just received my CAQ, wich is valid for 4 years. However, my program in University is only 3 years, so should I ask a study permit for 3 years ? It that a problem that my CAQ and Study permit don’t expire at the same moment ?

Hello! I dont think that this is a problem at all. Just remember when you apply for federal study permit that you'll have to give the dates of when your program starts and ends. You could also insert a letter explaining that your CAQ lasts longer than your program, and see if they will issue you a 3 year or 4 year study permit
