Cap filled - How to determine if my application will be accepted or not

Hi,

My friend Anil applied for NOC 2173 - Software eng and designer. The Application was sent on 16th Oct and received on 20th October 2014 by CIC. As of 8th November..the software engineer shows 699 applications counting towards that NOC.

So my question is..
Did the application sent on 20th oct counted towards these numbers or are there chances of the application being rejected later

please respond as my friend seems very tensed

Under 699 NO because it seems max upto August 27th as per SS
He is IN or OUT?:- no one can assure keep praying It helps

Maym99, any comments for Oct 9th applicants for NOC 2281 (present cap: 365) ?
BTW I can see in your profile info that you've written "WAIVED" in respect to Interview. How can you be so sure about it ?

No - no chance. The cap was reached by applications received in July. Your application is going to be returned to you.

please help me with my doubt.
I am applying under NOC 4011
as per the latest update the capping shows as 235 as on 6th November,
I will be sending my application by November 25th.
do I have a chance ??????????

FYI the numbers on the CIC site are as of the end of July - not November 6th.

per cic website & per forum members it is of July or august count....
so u have to make it quick......can always try your luck......
