Hello all! Super excited to get the Canoo email! I don't want to register just yet as things are still touch and go with covid.

Is there a list anywhere that shows what amenities we can access? Can I see before activating? I'm curious what would be available if I take my husband to Banff this fall... like Banff park pass? Royal Tyrell?

I did want to ask if anyone tried delaying their activation successfully, since before the pandemic, Canoo was only valid 1 year from the citizenship certificate date, regardless of when you registered for the app.

I’m registered but not activated. As far as I understand, they’re not the same thing.

So, from what I have read and understood, you have until your 1 year anniversary to activate it - at which time it will automatically activate you. I downloaded the app, but haven't registered yet because I was worried it was going to activate me. You will still have 1 full year to use it from Activation!

I'm trying to get a little more information though, which museums/galleries etc. As for the Parks Canada... I'm not clear whether that's free admission to all Parks Canada across Canada? It specifies on the link @rajkamalmohanram Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario Parks... I'm in Manitoba so I wanted to be able to take advantage of that at home too!

Parks in MB that are under Parks Canada should be covered!

I think it’s best to check in the app what’s available in your area. :)

I did get to register, so I’m able to browse without activating. Here’s what it looks like for me

Does this free admission covers whole family or just u as a citizen?

Thank you. I'm so not going to activate it anytime soon. I'll wait for a few months for things to re-open and then probably activate it. I hope to make the best of it.

Ok, I will set it up but not activate it! So, without activating I can see what's available? :)
