Hello,

I have 6 years of work experience in India and am about to complete 1 year of Canadian experience next month. I am at a stage where I'm unable to obtain job duties on letterhead from my previous employer. My employer had sent an email stating that they could not provide such a letter. However, they confirmed my employment as per the IRCC requirements like working full-time, title, start date, end date, and employee ID.

I have all the relevant documents to support my employment, such as an offer letter, promotion letter, standard experience letter, FORM 16, and income tax returns. What else should I do to support my employment proof?

None of those will work. IRCC is strict that they need to see job duties for sure. If you go ahead, you will face rejection. Solution? Have a colleague sign a letter stating your duties, start date, end data, hours per week and compensation on company's letter head. That's what most people did including myself.

Employees are not authorized to write on company's letter head. Is there any other possible solutions?

There is no such rule. They wrote for me. I worked in a Multi National Company. You need to ask around.
