Cancellation of the sponsorship application; Please help

I applied to sponsor my wife a couple of months ago. After a month I got the approval and the application was sent to an oversea office.
The things between me and my wife turned bad so I want to cancel the application. Can I still do this?
It's been almost two months since they started the PRV process and hoping that the visa wasn't yet issued, I would like to know what is the cancellation procedure for the application, if anyone knows? I might need to send a letter or something but where and how can I clearly identified myself as sponsor.

Yes, you can send email and fax to the processing office overseas and a copy to CPC Mississauga.
Ensure that you have the file no. and include your name, DOB and wife's name DOB in the fax and email.

I'm in the same boat But my husband is here in Canada and our relationship is on the rocks rights now. He is an abusive human being in everyway. I want to cancel his sponsorship without him knowing. What should I do? One thing that keeps crossing my mind is that I should call the man who helped us with our application and get the application number from him and not tell him the reason why. O god..i need help before he gets his stupid pr uuuggghhhhhhh

Just follow PMM's instructions provided above. Canceling is pretty straight forward.

hello...i have a big problrm hope any one use me...my canadian husband made sponsorship to me since 7 months...and my file now at ottawa-pilot...and me and my hubby got a problem and we were in out way to file in divorce...so he send email to missassuga CPC-m told them he wants to withdrawn his sponsorship to me...but after this with one day we agreed to don't divorce and we reconciled...so he felt great regreting about so he wants to cancel the withdrawing ...my question is is it too late to cancel the withdrawing?? or does the embassy will refused my vise?? :'(
