I will really be thankful for your expert opinion on this. I will keep it short.
My Brother applied in HR category in Dec 2014
We only got his confirmation for application acceptance since then no correspondence Not even Medical was requested.
Last year in Dec 2016, I requested for the GCMS notes in which it said Interview ABU which means its lined up for Interview in Abu Dhabi but since then no calls nothing
I spoke to people about this and they said Interview process is again very slow its taking average 1 to 1.5 years and may be more there is nothing that can be said about CIC with certainty.2014 and before cases are not priority for them anymore.
Long story short I wanted to ask if its a good idea or not that we cancel the FSW application and reapply through Express Entry.
The wait is getting longer and longer with no sight of hope that when they will give him a call for interview. I moved To Vancouver on LMIA work permit for my brother so that he can make a smooth move here but it looks like its a never ending wait with no sight of end to it.
One of my friend told me that since your are already in Canada on Work permit you can chase his case with Local MP but am not sure if they will be willing to help since I am not on PR and just an immigrant of workpermit. I will be giving them a call this week to find out.
