is there a minimum validity for a Canadian visa to enter Canada ?

IRCC is no longer giving out 10 year multiple entry visas to most people so visitors can be given visas with short time frames based on one requested visit date. Really depends on the visitors profile, ties to their home country, reason for visiting Canada, savings, etc.
