Hi All,

Could anybody please, provide me some information regarding the Spousal PR. My spouse is a Govt. Employee in Punjab. I'm not sure if it takes longer time for govt. employee to get PR after marriage. If you know the process, Please share your valuable views and suggestions.

To sponsor your spouse you will have to submit forms and supporting documents as required in the spousal sponsorship checklist.

For Sponsorship Forms......refer........Get your checklist, forms and instructions

The processing time to complete the spousal sponsorship is around 12months...........it could take less than 12 months, or even more.......your application will be approved based on the proof and genuineness of your marriage/relationship.

Check processing times.

Ensure your application package is complete.......you submit the required supporting documents.......and provide convincing proof of marriage/relationship........to avoid delays and ensure your get approval.

"Goverment employee" is quite broad. It would depend on the specific position, i.e. whether it is a high-up position, police/military, a sensitive position like intelligence etc.

My earnest greetings to all ,

I am an Indian Govt. Employee and about to get ITA this month... now the issue is regarding my work experience. Following is the work detail :-

I have been appointed in a core "X" dept. In june 2015 and had been sent on deputation to a PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) right after 3 months of my appointment in the "X".

The designation at "X" was engineer and the PSU offered me a post of Manager with same job profile(same job duties) as what i had have at "X" with same salary .

Now the issue is what NOC shall i fill while updating my ee profile... supposedly if i shall enter Engineer as NOC it will be having a work experience of merely 3 months which i think will not be acceptable and if i wud enter manager as NOC then the minimum criteria of 3 years is compelted yet

Please help
