Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding a dead person's passport information. A family member of mine had died 5 years ago, during the time they were alive, they had two canadian passports. One during the period of 1993 to 1998. After the first passport being expired, they next time this person requiring a new passport to travel abroad was in 2007. This persons second and last passport expired in 2012. This particular individual themselves expired in 2009. Now, this person had a property related court battle at the time of their existence.
Ultimately, my question is, in order to provide a Judge an offical government statement or document saying that this dead person only held two offical Canadian passports at the time of their existence, what should I do to get this?
Note: I've already been to the Canadian passport office regarding this inquiry and the suggestion I received there was to order the ATIP notes online. Which I did attempt to do, but got an e-mail from the ATIP saying that my specific inquiry cannot be answered by ordering the notes. So, as it stands, I have my hands tied, and have very little to no clue as to what I should do to achieve my goal here.
Any suggestion/advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
