I received Canadian Passport recently. When I was going through the passport, I found that there are two numbers on the passport.

One, in the page where all the profile details are.
Another, on the top of each page with holes.

Both are different numbers. Is it okay to have it like that or should it be the same number?

Please suggest your views here.

One is the book number (holes in the top of the page) but the one written on the page with your picture is the passport number. They are always different.

They are different numbers. Your passport number is the one in the information page.
