My application was delivered to Ottawa today (even though I sent it to Gatineau), now I wait. We'll see how long it takes.

Me, but my application reached on Feb 14th so assuming it's too soon to expect.

Application Delivered: 23rd February
CC not charged yet.

My file was delivered on Feb 08. I just called passport office to know about the status of my file as the CC has not been charged yet.
After 1.5 hours of wait, I have been told that my file has not been scanned yet. So, once the file is scanned, it will be 20 business days for the passport printing and sending.

Looks like I got my passport! I checked my mailbox this morning and have a post office tag to pick up tomorrow… annoying because I live in those apartments with my own key locked mailbox along with the additional Canada post parcel box’s with the key that they put in your small apartment mailbox. Can’t wait to have the passport in my hands! The mail person wrote passport on the tag. But it could be my certificate. I am hoping they are together. I’ll update tomorrow.

I checked my tracking number online and it said available for pick up now so I went and got it! Both passport and certificate were together in one envelope.
Timeline:
Application sent by mail (UPS): Jan 24, 2022
Delivered: Jan 25, 2022
Sent online request: Fed 9, 2022
Reply back to call special number for CC information.
CC charge: Fed 14th (15 mins after I called)
Call from agent to confirm my work and school address: Fed 20, 2022
Sent another online request: Fed 22, 2022
Picked up passport from post office: Fed 28, 2022
No calls to guarantor or references.
So 24 business days total.
With citizenship 26 months.

What? Scanned for what? This would be 40 business days which is 8 weeks if what you are saying is true. Unbelievable . I planned to travel 1st of April, and this would interfere with my plans. I thought I have enough time to mail in my application.

Congrats. 24 business days are somewhat acceptable. Good they started to include both the passport and certificate in one envelope. I see this is happening more frequent that before

By scanning, she referred to the scanning of document/application. I am expecting it to be more than 40 days.

But why they scan the documents? Aren't they working from office?
