Canadian Passport in person timeline

Hi anyone knows then please let me know me and my husband applied for Canadian passport together..both have different reference number..is service Canada send it together or separate??

They will send them in two different package but you both will receive them on the same day for both package, need signature for that.

But mine still showing under review and his passport tracking shows printed and mailed..I don't know. I am worried

Chill pill. If you got message it will be printed last week, it's likely on its way, probably get to you before the end of the week, but certainly nothing to worry about.

Is there some urgency that's getting you worried?

Not urgent..but me and my husband both applied together..he already got his passport in 3 days.mine was under review..I don't know how long still.

My application status shows that it was mailed out on 4th July but Canada Post tracking number associated with the same seems to be not valid. its been 3 days so not sure what's going on.

Hello everyone, 2 quick questions:

1. I am opting for paper Citizenship Certificate. When I apply for passport by mail, do I need to include a return envelope to return the original Citizenship Certificate?
2. Is there a way to apply by mail, but choose an option for in person passport pickup?

Read the instructions carefully - it's possible the instructions will say that for citizenship certificates of a certain series, a copy can be sent; and those series coincide with all new paper citizenship certificates that are issued. But again: instructions.

2. Is there a way to apply by mail, but choose an option for in person passport pickup?

Don't know. But honestly: doing it the other way around would be a FAR better option (or in person and pick up). If you apply in person, they check your application on the spot (and take a copy of citizenship certificate so you keep original) and there is no risk of having it returned due to an error. (On top of that - if you have something missing, they'll give you an appointment to submit again after a day or two).

In short: more important to have in person application than delivery.

Three Passport applications submitted In-person at Scarborough Passport office.: on July 17, 2025

Applications Review completed: on July 24, 2025 (updated in tracker on July 25th)

Print completed: One on July 24, 2025 and two on july 25, 2025 (updated on tracker on July 29th)

Passport mailed out on July 28, 2025 (updated on tracker on July 29th with Canada post tracking numbers)

Received one passport on July 29, 2025 (this was received in the morning and the remaining two in the evening by the Canada post as per the tracking numbers) and two in transit.

Maybe we will receive them by tomorrow (July 30, 2025)
