I was born in america, but have a canadian citizenship card (father was canadian).

Im planning to move back in July, was just wondering what would i need to do besides get a drivers license? what other paper works would i need to have to get a job there and attend class? Also whats a decent amount of money to bring along with me til i land a job? (i would literally accept any job).

Thank you!

1. Apply for provincial healthcard in the province you reside in. It does not cover dental work, prescriptions, etc so you may need separate insurance for this if your job doesn't provide it.
2. Apply for a social insurance number(similar to SSN) from Service Canada.
3. Best to have savings that can sustain you for at least 6 months. If you will rent, factor in expenses that come with that.
