I suggest you start a new post: the OP here hasn't been back on the forum for over a year.

If your situation involves spousal sponsorship, I'd also suggest you post in the Family Sponsorship section.

Based on this individual's last posts, she ended up returning to the US.

Again, a person is under no obligation to sponsor their spouse. They are perfectly within their rights to refuse to submit a sponsorship application and perfectly within their rights to withdraw a submitted sponsorship application. If this has happened to you and you wish to remain in Canada, then I would recommend you start investigating how you can apply to immigrate on your own.
