hi

as my knowledge the proof of funds is when you applied to CIC and given proof of funds within your application. I assume the amount you mentioned is when you are doing the landing. You must declare if you have more than 10,000, whether is it is money draft or bank transfer or cash. I hope this information helps.

I applied under the CEC class. NOT under express entry. As far as I am
concerned, I never had to fill a form that asked for Prooof of funds.

I don't think you need it.Call CIC call center and ask them if they said no you don't need it then you ask them for an email confirmation, print that email and bring it when you land

Proof of settlement funds is only required under FSW program, but not CEC.
It's been asked about over and over again, so let me make it clear:

You don't need proof of funds if you are getting PR through CEC.

No need to show proof of fund under CEC Relax (at least before express entry I am 100 % sure)

Good Luck

Thank you very much. I got misinformed by some
Consultant and lawyer that I would need proof of funds
At the port of entry. I felt they were wrong because I have
Already lived in canada for years.
