I applied under CEC class on Oct 22, 2018, for my PR. I called CIC on April 26th, 2019 asking about the status of my application. They said my application for my PR is approved but I missed my Landing Enquiry interview on Mar 21, 2018, and I explained to them that I have not received any appointment letter(I checked my junk folder and the email was in the junk folder). They said they will request the Vancouver office to reschedule the interview.
It called them and they said only call after a month (May 27, 2019), I have not received any scheduling interview letter yet. My Open work permits going to expire on Sep 12, 2019.
1. Can someone please help me understand how long it usually takes to receive the rescheduling letter?
2. Since it is already been a month, I am worried how long they are going to take to send the letter. Should I apply for bridging open work permit just to be on the safe side?
