Hi everyone,
I want to apply under Canadian experience class in express entry and my question is:
if I get my work permit in May 2019 and If I go to my home country in September 2019 for 4 weeks, when will I be able to apply under one year of experience? Or do I need to get continuous one year of experience?

I need to give more details my dear. When u started working, for which date of May u r expecting to receive your permit. And from what date to what u will be at your home country

On May 15 Will get work permit and from 12 august to 10 sept I will be in my home country
Cic usually allows 2 weeks paid vacations in 52 weeks (1 year) period. If u r out of country for 4 weeks then make sure u submit your eapr 2 weeks after completing 52 weeks in your job

Thank you so much for reply
I am sorry I am just little bit confused about this, you mean to say if I get my PGWP in May 2019 and if I will go to home country for 4 weeks then I will be able to have my one year experience after May 2020 + 2 weeks after that ?
Am I getting it right?

That's right. You don't need continuous experience for CEC.

I already have a job as a supervisor but to get the experience counted I need to wait until I get my PGWP

Not technically. If you are under implied status for your PGWP, the experience counts until your work permit gets approved.

Let's say you are submitting your application on April 15th . You can start working on 15th under 'implied status'. Say you get your work permit approved on May 15th. So the work you did from April 15th to May 15th can definitely be counted for CEC experience.
