Help Required.
I completed my 2 year study from Alberta in 2015.
I was working full time (NOC B) for 10 months and got laid off this month. :-[

For CEC, I understand it has to be 52 weeks of full time work and at least 1560 hours.

I have around 1700 hours that I have worked in this 10 months according to my ROE.

Now, I am getting another part time job in same NOC.
How much I have to work more to be eligible for CEC? Please guide.

It depends on how many hours you will be working at this part time job. If you work 30 hours a week, you need another two months. If you work 15 hours a week, you'll need four months. And so on...

I am not sure....
I think Because i have already worked around 1700 hours in 10 months. Now I just have to complete my 2 months in Part time work irrespective of hours.

After 2 months. I will be having 1 year of work experience and also satisfy over 1560 hours.

I think I could be right.

No you're not.
You get only 30 hours per week for your previous experience, despite the fact that you worked more hours. You have to consider that you completed 30 hours per week for the past 10 months, therefore previous response was correct.
You will need 2 months full time (at least 30 hours) or equivalent part time to qualify.

Thanks Gregor. I just wanted to add some more detail that we are finding below mentioned detail on Profile where "Application/Profile status" mentioned as "Profile Ineligible" but On the Review of "Minimun Entry Criteria" is showing as "In Progress".

Just would like to check that we should need to wait for them to confirm on "Minimun Enrty Criteria" or need to consider "Application/Profile Status"?

Where is this application? Details Help

So far you did create a EE profile, right?

Your profile is lot eligible due to some reason.

As discussed before you are not eligible under CEC, nor under FST (unless you get a job offer and meet other criteria ).

Looks like you're not eligible for FSW either.

You should review your profile and FSW requirements to see what is not working.

Perhaps you can wait a bit for review in progress, I really don't know about it.

Please read carefully CIC website. It says you are eligible after one year full time or two years part time work experience in NOC A, O , or B category. If you completed 10 months then you have to get more two months to eligible for CEC. Its mandatory.. it doesnt matter that where you are working but make sure two months should be in any NOC A, O, B category.

I applied for PR under express entry on November 5th 2015. My profile got updated to background check on march 21st 2016 and my 6 month processing time is almost about to finish on 6th of may 2016. I am wandering why it is taking so much time.

Hi all

I want to evalute my degrees from WES. All my credential are issued on my first name last name is not mentioned. Is there any concern in this.
And on my passport full name is mentioned.

My another question is they assess only higher qualification or assess all the credentials.
Please help me.

You should definitely have problems if your full name is not in your educational documents.

WES isn't comparing educational name with Passport name but CIC will do.

Your last name is "included" in your first name educational docs?

WES assesses Secondary education and University, see link below.

Be sure to request a ECA evaluation, it's the only one valid for CIC.

Is there a way to extend my Work Permit Once I applied? What do people do if their post-grad work permit is about to expire?
You have some options:

-to get LMIA and based on it get WP.
-try to get TVR but have to prove you have enough funding to live on it till you get PR without working
-you may go home and apply from abroad.
