Hello everyone,
I’m seeking clarification on how to correctly declare my education history in my Canadian Experience Class / PR application.
My situation is as follows:
If anyone has had a similar transfer-credit scenario or can provide guidance based on IRCC requirements, I would really appreciate your input.
Thank you in advance.
I’m seeking clarification on how to correctly declare my education history in my Canadian Experience Class / PR application.
My situation is as follows:
- I started my Bachelor’s degree at a university in Pakistan and completed approximately 2 years there.
- I then transferred my credits to a Canadian university.
- I completed the remaining 2 years in Canada and was awarded a Bachelor’s degree from the Canadian institution.
- For the Canadian Bachelor’s degree, should I enter the full study period (e.g., 2019–2023), or only the duration physically studied in Canada?
- Do I need to list my Pakistani university separately under education history, even though no degree was awarded there?
- If I include the Pakistani education, what is the correct status to select?
- “Not completed”
- “In good standing but no degree awarded”
- Since my final credential is a Canadian Bachelor’s degree, is it sufficient for CRS points, or is there any requirement to declare the prior studies separately for completeness?
If anyone has had a similar transfer-credit scenario or can provide guidance based on IRCC requirements, I would really appreciate your input.
Thank you in advance.
