Canadian ETA leniency

Hi everyone!

I'm new here and from the UK. Not sure if I have posted on the right section.

Basically I have applied for my ETA over a month ago and my file is still under review despite doing everything they asked me to do.

I have been panicking but then read on the official site that the leniency period has been extended to November 9th... I travel on October 11th so I am presuming I am okay to board from the UK... could anyone with any experience help at all, I would be so grateful.

You won't have issues boarding the airplane.

However it's strange that your ETA is taking that long to get approved. Whatever is causing this delay could potentially cause issues for being admitted to Canada. So whatever paperwork you've provided to try to get your ETA approved should also be brought with you to show (if needed) to the CBSA officer.
