If one enrolls into and completes a credited distance postgraduate qualification from a Canadian university, would that help the score on one's Express Entry profile? With my current professional responsibilities, I have been unable to undertake any full-time qualification from Canada. Would an MA from British Columbia help?

Moreover, does it have any likelihood of improving the chances for being offered a job from Canadian employers while being offshore?

Any help will be appreciated.

Exceptions
(5) For the purpose of this section, the following are not eligible credentials:

(a) credentials obtained in a study or training program in which the study of English or French as a second language amounted to more than half of the program;
(b) credentials obtained in a study or training program in which distance learning amounted to more than half of the program; or
(c) credentials obtained in a study or training program while receiving a scholarship or fellowship that stipulated that the recipient return to their home country to apply the knowledge and skills gained.

If the bolded part applies to you then you wouldn't qualify for the 30 points Canadian students can obtain.
