I saw on the canadian high commission website that the canadian diplomats both home and abroad are gone on strike. does anybody have an idea when this started and possibly if any idea when it ends ?
will this strike action affect student visa applications as from the 8th July 2013 ?

please help me with credible information. thank you

GHANA.

I think it might affect the visa processing time. I did apply for study permit too, but at Nairobi office. Let's hope it doesn't delay anything.

I am happy to announce that I have been called for the medicals today, I have information that the strike may not affect student visa.
your concern is very much appreciated.

how do you know that "the strike may not affect student visa."??

because myself and other friend applied within same period in Ghana and we all been called for medicals.

hi,forum member,
please what time or which period did you guys apply.
i also apply lat year January 2012,although my profile was recently updated in March 2013 but i have not received anything yet.

we both applied in the month of july, and our response came in less than 2 weeks. if you have still not heard from the high commission, the it is expedient that you call to do a follow up.
good luck.
