Hi guys,

I wrote my test on March 13th at the Glen Erin location and here is my timeline:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 3, 2011.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 3, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on January 20, 2012.

We sent you a notice on February 24, 2012 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 13, 2012 at 8:00 AM.

We sent you a notice on March 29, 2012 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on April 17, 2012 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment.

Hopefully you will all receive your letters soon. Good luck!

Hi seeuuu,

Thanks,

Yeah I saw people who took their tests on March 16th they haven't take their oath yet!!! Hopefully they can send oath letter by next Friday because my full month will complete by next Friday

Hamilton CIC is the best and the fastest immigration local office in my opinion. I submitted my application in Nov. 2010, wrote the test March 2011 around first week and on the second week I got a letter for the oath. It took the great people of Hamilton CIC just 1 week to process them all. As long as you are not a candidate for RQ or you have multiple absences from Canada or you did not hired a crook immigration consultant to cover for your absences then you will be OK. The Hamilton CIC people are very friendly and professional, why dont you drop them a visit. Cheers to the Hamilton CIC Office.

HI,
I check my online status at CIC they update my status for oath on April 21 @ 9:15 :) I hope they send soon for everybody who is waiting.
