I previously lived in Windsor, Ontario, but recently moved to the United States due to my husband's temporary work assignment. I have now been scheduled for a Canadian citizenship interview in Windsor.

Because our move to the U.S. was intended to be temporary, I did not notify IRCC of my address change. What types of questions should I expect during the citizenship interview regarding my residence and current location? Also, is it acceptable to explain that I am temporarily residing in the United States because of my husband's work assignment?

You were required to update your address and not updating your address likely lead to the interview. You should be honest. If you have firm plans to return to Canada then be honest during your interview but if that is not the case don’t lie.
