I need to send across my Canadian citizenship certificate as part of my wife's documents, but they were issued many many years ago, and my photo on them is from when I was a kid.

Does anyone know if sending the citizenship card with a younger photo of myself would be fine? I can send a copy of the Commemoration of Canadian Citizenship form, but it doesn't have my picture on it - I don't know if that alone can be used for such purposes.

Anyone know?

You mean the wallet sized plastic card?

You stated you have a Canadian citizenship certificate. Whatever you have, send it.

I'm just wondering if because of hold old it is, and the fact that my picture there is from when I was a child, if that's still acceptable. I don't think these things really have any 'validity' period so to speak?

I sent the plastic size one which was issued 30 years ago. It was fine.
