Hi, I've searched around and haven't quite found the right solution...
I have a business in the US that wants to hire me. And the responsibilities would classify me as an employee - but I am in Canada. It's an apprentice position where I would work remotely and we are just testing it out for two months. Until we find a more permanent solution.
Any ideas on how to work around this? I know the easiest way would be for the US business to create a subsidiary in Canada, but since we are in a "evaluation period". That might not be the most suitable solution to this short term role. After the two months, then creating a subsidiary may not be a problem but for right now I am looking for ways to make this work.
Any ideas? Anything would be helpful, thank you so much everyone.
